This was a very high energy ribbon cutting because the owner of I heart You Candles, Sherry, is a very high energy and enthusiastic person! As an ambassador for the Pacific Grove Chamber of Commerce I regularly attend events like this and of course always bring my camera. This time I was also a customer purchasing a candle to bring home to my girlfriend. Since I moved to Pacific Grove 16 months ago, I needed a new dentist and was glad to find one within walking distance to my house. I needed a dental implant, and one that required some extra prep, so over the course of 7+ months I got to know Dr. Vince and the team at Moonflower Dentistry pretty well, so I was glad to hear of their grand opening and ribbon cutting event as I saw first hand the huge renovations going on inside the practice. Dr. Kritika and Dr. Vince put on an energetic and fun event to celebrate their newly renovated practice. I can also recommend Dr. Vince as the best dentist I have had in my life, and having had implants from another dentist / practice, his methods and skills made the experience for more pleasant. The cold temperatures outside did nothing to slow down the staff of AHCC getting everyone ready to celebrate this ribbon cutting event late on a Friday evening. You have to be careful with those ceremonial scissors though!!

What an event at Floor and Decor of Albuquerque, New Mexico! It seems people did not believe them when they said they really were giving away a brand new 2018 Chevy pickup truck! Well, with sales tax even paid too, they gave it away and Wizard won! I was talking with him just minutes before his raffle ticket number was called to be one of the five finalists for a chance to win the truck. He is a very nice guy and his motorcycle club advocates for children so he is a very deserving winner! This also made it seem more exciting to me having just met him a few minutes prior so it was not a completely anonymous winner to me. There were lots of other prizes, and I even won a Yeti cooler! Amazing job by Floor and Decor. This was one of the top events of the year in Albuquerque!

I learned a lot at this ribbon cutting event in Albuquerque, New Mexico for Kangen Water. I was surprised that according to their acidity metrics, tap water is better for you than the two most popular bottled water makers! The Albuquerque Hispano Chamber of Commerce were very good hosts once again. If I lived closer to Kangen, I would be a member of their store where you can bring in your own water jugs and get them refilled. There is also a counter top machine for sale to purify the water right in your own home, but for me, it is just a little out of budget at the moment!

If you are having a grand opening ribbon cutting event at a donut shop, it is wise to have it at 9am in the morning, which the new Donut Mart location on San Mateo Blvd in Albuquerque, New Mexico did! Thus, there was a huge turnout. I was there with my Nikon D750 representing the Albuquerque Hispano Chamber of Commerce, which hosted the event.
