This was a very high energy ribbon cutting because the owner of I heart You Candles, Sherry, is a very high energy and enthusiastic person! As an ambassador for the Pacific Grove Chamber of Commerce I regularly attend events like this and of course always bring my camera. This time I was also a customer purchasing a candle to bring home to my girlfriend. Professional Photos for Airbnb or Verb or Vacation Rental Home in Pebble Beach with Drone Aerial Photos too
Pebble Beach, California is becoming the place I go to most to make professional photos and aerial drone photos of Airbnb, Vrbo, an vacation home rental properties! The large, open common space photographed well showing a great place for Airbnb guests to spend time. I worked with a stager to setup a food / drink setting in order to get highlight and featuring photos, in addition to the wide angle shots of the rooms themselves. Highlighting photos are necessary for Airbnb shoots to let guests feel what kind of experience they could have in the home, while such photos may not always be needed or wanted in traditional real estate listings. I stayed until twilight to get a few lights on through the windows shots, and I also sent the drone up to show the property in its unique forested and sloped setting.
Bird Rock is one of the best sunset viewing spots along 17 Mile Drive in Pebble Beach California
There are many scenic viewing points along 17 Mile Drive in Pebble Beach, California. I discovered Bird Rock because of a cycling group I was riding with stopped there one evening. Besides the great view, this lookout point has lots of parking and picnic tables and even a restroom. I decided to grab the camera and head out there, by car this time, to get a few shots of the sunset and twilightsky. It’s named Bird Rock for the big rock just offshore that is used as a rookery. Lots of birds were coming home from their day of work to spend the night on Bird Rock.
Amazing Harry Potter Themed Event Venue space in Asilomar Conference Grounds in Pacific Grove
For the third of three nights (night one, night two) of event venue space photography for Asilomar Conference Grounds in Pacific Grove, California I walked into a stunning room straight out of the world of Harry Potter, complete with “flying” candles! I had no idea what the theme was going to be for this night, so it was a total surprise to me, and a major challenge to photograph a space that pretty much required shutter speeds of 10 seconds or longer. For the above shot, with the help of the general manager, I got the entire staff to clear the room and was able to make a long exposure photo. Even though it might have made everyone a bit late setting up, I think it was worth it and the client loved it! This was not a normal actor headshot photo shoot for me, as I first met Robyn over 15 years ago at a dog park all the way in St. Petersburg, Florida, where our dogs, born only 10 days apart in 2009, became each other’s first best friends (see the best photo of them playing together). I went on to photograph her daughter’s wedding some years later (making one of my all time favorite photos with Christmas lights), then we both end up moving to California just about a year apart. She came to visit me in Pacific Grove and as she is pursuing acting now, I made headshots for her after we caught up over lunch. Thank you Robyn for everything over the years!
Professional Airbnb Photography for Sand Dollar Beach in California
This was my first time traveling to this area of the central California coast, just about due west of Watsonville in the Sand Dollar Beach area. I was there to photograph a client’s longtime family beach house, now being used as an Airbnbvacation rental property. The client wanted drone aerial photos to show its proximity to Sand Dollar Beach and its beach house setting. I included highlighting and featuring photos for the client of the beach vibes found in the views of the property as well as the decor. Thank you Siobhan for choosing me as your Airbnb photographer!
Fun Ribbon Cutting Event Photography in Pacific Grove at my own dentist!
Since I moved to Pacific Grove 16 months ago, I needed a new dentist and was glad to find one within walking distance to my house. I needed a dental implant, and one that required some extra prep, so over the course of 7+ months I got to know Dr. Vince and the team at Moonflower Dentistry pretty well, so I was glad to hear of their grand opening and ribbon cuttingevent as I saw first hand the huge renovations going on inside the practice. Dr. Kritika and Dr. Vince put on an energetic and fun event to celebrate their newly renovated practice. I can also recommend Dr. Vince as the best dentist I have had in my life, and having had implants from another dentist / practice, his methods and skills made the experience for more pleasant.
