Professional Commercial Interior and Exterior Photography at a Memory Care Community in Albuquerque New Mexico

Memory Care Commercial Real Estate Photography in Albuquerque

Over the course of three days I made extensive interior and exterior commercial photos of the North Ridge Memory Care community in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Just a few days after I was first contacted about making the photos, I was in the community shooting, and almost immediately after delivering the photos to the client, they were up on the North Ridge website! Everyone behind the scenes helped me work efficiently on site to photograph numerous rooms, and one of the big benefits I offer my clients is a very fast turnaround time on editing the photos. That’s how a commercial real estate client can go from first contact with me to having professionally edited commercial photos on their website in less than two weeks!

6 sunsets in 3 evenings in Colorado

It was quite the challenge to capture the sunset at six different rural land real estate properties in Huerfano County Colorado with only three nights to do so! This resulted in one evening being like the end of the movie Bram Stoker’s Dracula with me actually racing against the sunset to get to the last property in time before the sun disappeared behind the mountains. Unlike in the movie, I did make it before the sunset and got the shots I needed. Without having to race around in a Jeep, you can see all the sunset views made with my signature HDR technique.

Infinite Sand for Infinite Photographs at White Sands

There are some natural wonders that a photographer could live at and basically photograph for the rest of their life. Places like the Grand Canyon are obvious. For New Mexico, there may not be an immediate obvious choice, but to me. the obvious choice is White Sands. I have been there three times and each visit I found something the same, but different to photograph. Then there is the unique, open world construct of White Sands. There are no set paths you have to walk on, no established iconic photo of White Sands, which frees a photographer to wander and find their own iconic view of this expanse of white sand desert, distant mountains, and endless sky.

Navajo Lake New Mexico views from the south

Navajo Lake New Mexico views from the south

The southern view of Navajo Lake in New Mexico

One of my favorite areas to visit in New Mexico is a very small town in San Juan County called Navajo Dam, which is home to the second largest lake in the state, Navajo Lake. I have been here many times, but this was the first time to find myself on a road on the southern shore of the lake allowing me to make photos with a much different view of the lake and dam and in the distance, the San Juan River also. This was the first time I found myself driving across the top of the dam which is very high up and steep, and with no guard rails! There are stunning views on both sides of the dam, but as the driver you definitely have to stay focused!

Albuquerque Restaurant Interior Photography at MTucci Twenty-Five

Albuquerque Restaurant Interior Photography at MTucci Twenty-Five

Professional restaurant interior photography featuring furniture

Sometimes who you might think is my client here at Jason Collin Photography, is not actually the client. Here you see commercial interior photos of the new restaurant M’Tucci’s Twenty-Five in Albuquerque, New Mexico. So naturally you would think the restaurant hired me to make photos to help promote their opening. However, the client was the company that makes the furniture used in the restaurant. Puzzled restaurant employees were wondering why I was focused on the tables and chairs and did not care about getting any logos or branding in the shots! I like being given creative freedom to go to a location and photograph a client’s product “in the wild” as best as I can given only a semi-controlled environment as some customers were coming into the restaurant and I had to work fast at times and shoot from selective angles.

Starry Night in Colorado

Starry Night in Colorado

More stars in the night sky in Colorado??

It was over 20 years ago I saw the brightest stars in the night sky in my life, and ironically it was the furthest I had ever been from the stars themselves as I was at the bottom of the Grand Canyon. Now, I unexpectedly have seen the second brightest night sky in my life here in the tiny town of La Veta, Colorado. Strolling outside the Airbnb it was like the Universe had suddenly created 5 times as many stars in the heavens. It was a spectacular site and a nice bonus on what has been a hard photo & drone work trip.

Best Rural Land Real Estate Drone Photography in El Morro New Mexico

Best rural land real estate photographer for Cibola County New Mexico

My first rural land real estate photography shoot of 2021 had me right back to where I spent much of the last few months of 2020, in the El Morro area of Cibola County, New Mexico. The snow had 95% melted from most areas, except north facing slopes, as you can see in the photos, especially from the drone aerial photos. This particular property extended all the way up and over the mesa, which was a tricky little climb for me in the snow with two cameras and a tripod! This is the physical ability and professionalism I have to make sure, even in difficult conditions, I get the best photographic coverage of a property for this client.
