I was hired by Modern Promos out of Minnesota to photograph an event here in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Sprint was offering customers a free Kona Ice frozen treat. I arrived in the middle of the afternoon desert heat and sun to meet Franky in the Kona Ice truck wondering if anyone would show up on such a Friday afternoon? After a slow start, some people did start to come and some were very excited as you can see above!

Sprint employees could not resist coming out for a free Kona Ice too. I was surprised how many people work in a Sprint store on a weekday afternoon!

Even dogs were excited to maybe get a lick of a Kona Ice. I got a chance to pet these pups during the event which ended up passing very quickly despite the heat and sun. I like these quick event shoots where I get to talk to people and learn about their business and interact with the public in a unique way.
