High Impact and Creative Jewelry Product Photography in ABQ

This is part two (check out part one) of an extended jewelry and Rolex watch product photography shoot I did for Crown Jewels and Coin here at the JCP Home Studio in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Crown wanted high impact, high resolution photos of various pieces of jewelry to feature in a TV commercial they were making. Over the course of the shoot I made a variety of jewelry product shots featuring individual pieces, and group shots with nearly all the jewelry they brought all in one shot! In addition, we finished with a few hand modeling shots with the jewelry.

Getting creative photographing Rolex watches!

It was great working with new client Crown Jewels and Coin here at the JCP Home Studio in Albuquerque, New Mexico, making a series of photos of Rolex watches that will be featured in their new television commercial! Using a reflective acrylic product background for these shots, and my Sony 90mm f/2.8 macro lens, we put the watches in various positions and I even suggested having a hand model type shot. This was easily my most valuable product photography shoot to date!

Sleeping Bag Product Photography in Albuquerque

Now one of my most longtime clients, Tavis of Morrison Outdoors keeps creating outstanding sleeping bags for kids in ever more vibrant colors! Last month he sent me an orange sleeping bag, and now a cool purple one. My sleeping bag as a kid never looked like this! As a professional product photographer in Albuquerque, New Mexico, one of my main goals is to deliver consistent results for clients, even over years of shooting the same product. For example, while shooting this new purple sleeping bag for Tavis, I had on screen the last orange sleeping bag shoot so I could as exactly as possible recreate each and every shot from lighting to the composition angle. Consistent Professional Product Photography in Albuquerque

Even though Tavis of Morrison Outdoors has moved from New Mexico to Washington, I am very flattered he continues to choose me as his product photographer for his innovative kids sleeping bags. He shipped the latest sleeping bag to me and I made the same series of photos of the product like I had done for him in three past shoots. Providing consistent results over several years is something I am proud to offer clients here at Jason Collin Photography. This time Tavis wanted a few extra shots of the sleeping bag “dancing” that he could use for a fun gif. So the four photos above if you swipe through them quickly give the illusion of the orange sleeping bag doing a little dance! During an Amazon product photography shoot here in Albuquerque, New Mexico at the JCP Home Studio I got to photograph climbing ropes for the first time. Marshall from NE Heights Climbing brought them over an assisted with getting the rope placement just right in coiled form, detail, and full shot. Marshall wanted professional quality product photos he could use both on his own website and for listing his products on Amazon as well. Product photography for Amazon right in ABQ

Marshall of NE Heights Climbing visited the JCP Home Studio with a new line of beanie hats and a leather patch hat. He is starting this new company here in Albuquerque, New Mexico and wants to be able to sell his line of products on his own website (see above) and on Amazon. Using my ultra-high resolution Sony a7R IV mirrorless camera, professional off camera lighting, and advanced editing, I delivered modern product photos for Marshall that are Amazon ready. He was also a great help during the shoot with styling the hats and best of all, he let me have the blue beanie which I wore that same day when walking my dog! Long time readers of Jason Collin Photography might recognize that striking purple DV10 liquid nitrogen tank. That’s because almost exactly one year to the day I photographed it first for BioLife Solutions. They have updated the look and branding on their mod pak product and needed professional product photography of it to go with the other product photos I made for them last year.
