Placitas, New Mexico is just a short drive from Albuquerque, but as you can see, is a totally different landscape to the bigger nearby city. Working for new real estate client Miriam, I flew the drone over her rural land property which was uniquely suited for showing the topography of the property. The extreme slop of the land and the mountain setting would not be easy to depict using traditional still photos from the ground. This is the benefit of drone land real estate aerial photography. Out on another luxury real estate drone photography shoot for returning client Fred Creek this time in the Sandia Heights area of Albuquerque. It took me a couple of weeks to post these photos, and I see that this listing is already pending at $850,000! For regular readers of this website, it is no secret Angel Fire has become my favorite place in New Mexico. I have been here many times in the past, but all in summer, and since Angel Fire is most famous for being a ski area, it was great to finally visit the town in winter with snow on the ground! I had a dual mission here, getting drone video of a vacation rental house (which the owner kindly let me stay in!) and working for my main rural land client getting drone photos of his property that just happened to be only 8 minutes from the rental house. I actually thought there would be a lot more snow on the ground here in Angel Fire, but it is the start of March, and the temps have been in the 50s the past few days. It has been great to be in the quiet and beauty of Angel Fire in winter. If I could only run my business from Angel Fire, that would be fantastic!

Luxury Real Estate Photography on a tight deadline in Albuquerque

This was my first time to work with Nick Caffey of Cottonwood Realty who called me with a short notice request to photograph a luxury real estate listing on La Luz Trail NE right in the very foot of the Sandia Mountains (check out the actual property listing if you are interested). He told me it was going to be a $1.5 million dollar listing, and that he needed it photographed within 3 days! I had a very tight schedule, and was not even in Albuquerque at the time of his text, and was leaving Albuquerque yet again for more out of town photo work 3 days after I got back. However, I was able to make time and get all the photography and drone content done for Nick in time for his listing date (save for twilight shots due to weather). The owners of the house helped make this possible too by having the house ready and looked like it was staged professionally. Thank you Nick for choosing me as your luxury home real estate photographer! I hope this listing sells quickly and I look forward to the next luxury property shoot with you.

Professional Rural Land Real Estate Photography and Drone Video in Alamosa Colorado with a Creek

Rural Land Drone Video and Photography now available for Colorado

Already the most prolific rural land real estate photographer and drone pilot in New Mexico, I am now offering my photography and drone services in southern Colorado. This expansion recently took me to Conejos County near La Jara and Alamosa. Hidden down nearly 10 miles of gravel road, and then hidden further in a small hamlet bordered by a hidden creek itself, this property was one of the most lush I have photographed for Hemingway Land (and also the first time I got bit my mosquitos in 2+ years!). This is a high value property and the client wanted the works: 4k drone video, aerial drone photos, and still photos in both daylight and at sunset. The drone video I made of this property opens with one of the single best clips I have ever made for any type of drone video starting at the creek and flying backwards between trees to reveal the mountains in the distance. My goal is to top each video, each shoot I made before and my effort for this property is evidence of that.

Best rural land real estate photographer for Cibola County New Mexico

My first rural land real estate photography shoot of 2021 had me right back to where I spent much of the last few months of 2020, in the El Morro area of Cibola County, New Mexico. The snow had 95% melted from most areas, except north facing slopes, as you can see in the photos, especially from the drone aerial photos. This particular property extended all the way up and over the mesa, which was a tricky little climb for me in the snow with two cameras and a tripod! This is the physical ability and professionalism I have to make sure, even in difficult conditions, I get the best photographic coverage of a property for this client.

3 Days Photographing Blue River Ranch in Arizona

At the end of August I had a unique opportunity to photograph and fly over a unique luxury ranch property only about 1.5 miles as the crow flies beyond the New Mexico border in a small, small town call Blue River, Arizona. This shoot was unique because I actually stayed on the property in the guest cabin, so I could easily shoot at all hours of the day capturing a luxury real estate property like I never was able to do before. The owner, Miriam, was a gracious host and very helpful even in assisting with some aspects of the shoot. If you want acres of land, your very own pond, and privacy, this might just be the place for you!
