Tarot Cards featured in creative product photography in Albuquerque

Product photography photo shoots are some of the most interesting types of photo shoots I do here at the JCP Home Studio in Albuquerque, New Mexico because of the opportunity to be creative depending on the type of product. For this shoot, tarot cards were featured in a number of creative ways thanks largely to the help of the person who actually made the cards, Darshanie of Lovely Om. She drew the pictures for each tarot card over the course of ten years! Along with her partner Markus, we came up with a fan spread of the cards, some shots featuring a book on tarot and that particular card described on the page, plus my favorite, just spread out some tarot cards and I look for the best angle, kind of freestyle shooting! Professional Product Photography for Beanies Hats in Albuquerque

Long-time client Tavis, of Morrison Outdoors, keeps putting out new products to go with their signature all in one sleeping bags for kids. The latest Morrison Outdoors merchandise? Beanies and knit hats for kids. Now that Tavis is located in the Pacific Northwest, he has to ship the products to me. I still send him real time feedback during the shoot, which this time resulted in him just wanting lay flat views of the beanies. I really appreciate Tavis still choosing me as his product photographer even though he is no longer living and working in Albuquerque. I look forward to seeing what Morrison Outdoors makes next for me to photograph!

Aaron of Chasin Quail visited the JCP Home Studio for a professional product photography shoot right here in Albuquerque, New Mexico. He brought a variety of t-shirts and ball caps to get photographed for his online store. We worked together to get the hat photo perspective just how he wanted, and likewise for the top down shots of the t-shirts. Professional Product Photography for outdoor gear in ABQ

I am always excited to see what new products Tavis sends me from his outdoor gear company, Morrison Outdoors (another recent shoot). He started with a unique sleeping bag for kids, and is now branching out into other branded products, like these clever leak proof bottles featured here. The green bottle opens its straw by twisting the cap. The black bottle has a super secure twist to pen for a small sipping opening designed to be for coffee. I really appreciate clients like Tavis that even though they are no longer in Albuquerque or even New Mexico, still choose me as their product photographer. Thank you Tavis! This professional product photography shoot in Albuquerque, New Mexico took place in studio and out on location on a basketball court. Alexander had specific ideas for what photos he wanted of his sneaker crease protectors, and one of those was on a basketball court, which was a fun challenge to shoot on. Craft 1861 brought another series of CBD products to the JCP Home Studio here in Albuquerque, New Mexico for professional product photography. This time there were some colorful bath bombs I handled very carefully to keep them from rolling off the table and losing any bits of themselves. This was another product shoot done virtually with the team from Craft 1861 watching the shoot in real time so they could have input on the color coordination of the bath bombs. Virtual CBD Product Photography Shoot in Albuquerque, New Mexico

This CBD product photography shoot here at the JCP Home Studio in Albuquerque, New Mexico was unique as the team from Craft 1861 observed the shoot via a Zoom like interface. I had my MacBook Pro pointed toward the product photography setup where the team could see how the labels were facing, product pairings, and then the final results. I appreciate and welcome client feedback during product shoots, and was surprised how relatively easily and smoothly a virtual client shoot was!
