Getting up early to make headshots of ranchers and farmers

Bringing my mobile headshot studio setup out at 8am on a Saturday morning to a hotel in Albuquerque, New Mexico to make team headshots is not something I had ever done before, but then these were not the usual headshot clients. I had the opportunity to make headshots for the representatives of the New Mexico Farm & Livestock Bureau who came to Albuquerque from all over the state. Since they were only meeting early on Saturday morning, that’s the only time there was to make the headshots just before the meeting really got started. I have been saying how uncanny the timing of my photography jobs are more and more, and with this return to the accounting firm of Loftis and Lovato nearly exactly two years to the day since I first made team headshots for them (check out those team headshots to see how people changed), things just getting even more uncanny! L & L have added some new team members, and others just wanted updated headshots from what I made for them 2 years ago. I brought the same gray background and lighting setup I used 2 years ago to keep the consistent look with the all the other team members that came to the JCP Home Studio just to get an individual headshot in the meantime. L & L have since moved to a new location, which is featured in the updated group shot I made for the whole team. On a rainy morning I visited the New Mexico Legal Group office in Albuquerque, New Mexico to make headshots for some of lawyers and team members after having first photographed McKenzie here at the JCP Home Studio. Her coworkers saw her headshot and having liked it, hired me to come make headshots for six more people. The rain thwarted making a group photo outside, so I look forward to seeing everyone at the NMLG team again soon for another fun photo shoot. High impact actor portfolio headshots in Albuquerque

George visited the JCP Home Studio in Albuquerque, New Mexico with a definite vision for the actor headshots he wanted. He had been growing out his beard, brought props, and was ready to go for his western cowboy themed actor headshot photo session. We settled on a gray background as the most complimentary for the photos, I put on the camera my brand new Sony 50mm f/1.2 G Master lens, and then George did the rest. Through several wardrobe changes, a couple of lighting changes, and even getting a saddle into the action, we had a very creative headshot session and George now has the photos he needs to land western and cowboy roles. Headshots in vibrant colors now available in Albuquerque

Here at Jason Collin Photography I am always looking to improve the headshots I make for clients with both technique and photography gear. The latest addition to headshot sessions is color! Thao visited the JCP Home Studio in Albuquerque, New Mexico for headshots and told me that the logo color for her company was purple. Using the new gels I got, I put on a purple one and, voila, a white background becomes purple! I am super excited to be able to start offering clients background colors to match their logos, brands, and personality. Of course white, black, and gray are still available too!
