In Studio Actor headshots in Pacific Grove California
I met Elijah some months ago playing ultimate frisbee. I learned he is an actor and and he learned I was a photographer, so we came to discuss making new headshots for him right here in Pacific Grove, California as we only live a few blocks from each other! Shooting here at the Jason Collin Photography Studio allows for convenient tethered shooting reviewing results on a 43” TV screen to see in detail each headshot as it is made in real time. This lets clients clearly see their headshot as we work on making the exact headshot wanted, and also allows for more creativity seeing results as they are shot and what works best in terms of background and lighting. Francis contacted me about actor headshots and we met at my current mobile studio space in Pacific Grove, California. This was my first headshot shoot since moving to California! Scott visited the JCP Home Studio for headshots, but not just for one type of headshot. By profession he is a lawyer and wanted headshots for that, but in his other life, he is also an actor! So he started out in a nice suite like you’d expect to see a lawyer in, before changing up to a blue pullover for more casual actor headshots. I would say this is a first for me, but I’ve actually done one of these shoots a few years ago for a person that was both a lawyer and actor! On location and in studio for actor headshots in Albuquerque
It was great to see Kristina again for two more actor headshots shoots here in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Our first shoot was about 1.5 years ago in studio. This time we tried out on location where we stumbled upon a great brick wall background. For part two of the shoot she wanted to return to the studio and have her preferred black background for those headshots. Creative actress headshot photo session in ABQ with a makeup artist
Sheryl was first going to visit the JCP Home Studio in Albuquerque, New Mexico for an actor headshot session last fall, but she is a very busy person and often out of ABQ for months at a time. Finally everything aligned for her to get new actress headshots this week and also for Hillary to come over to be the makeup artist for the shoot, as Hillary was a past actor headshot client and was the person who referred Sheryl to me! It was a great headshot session and I really like the results we got showcasing Sheryl’s personality from serious to smiling. More and more actors are choosing Jason Collin Photography for their headshots in Albuquerque. Erika visited the JCP Home Studio for a series of actor headshots showcasing her range of personality, including neutral, which her agent requested specifically! She had worked in the medical field and got burnt out and is now looking to try new things. The flexibility I offer in studio to change backgrounds, lighting, and by shooting tethered, allows clients like Erika to get a wide range of headshots often in just a 30 minute session. This was a really fun headshot session and Erika even played her own music to create the vibe for the shoot that resulted in these images. It’s not every day a princess visits the JCP Home Studio right here in Albuquerque, New Mexico, but such was the case when Sarah arrived for her headshot session. She was after all the princess in the Princess in the Frog at Shanghai Disney no less! Back in the U.S. and with a new haircut, she wanted updated headshots for an upcoming audition. Shooting tethered Sarah was able to see in real time what her headshots looked like. We worked together to create just the right smile for each headshot on several different background colors.
