Headshots and Branding Photos both in Studio and Out on Location in Pacific Grove for a financial advisor
Chris contacted me about making headshots and personal branding photos for him here in Pacific Grove discussing an in studio shoot and maybe out on location too. After talking, he decided on both so after beginning in studio shooting on my new, and increasingly popular, “thunder gray” background, I took a portable set of lighting with me helped by assistant Melissa to Lover’s Point Park for some ocean background shots. In a shoot just an hour long, I made in total 11 headshots and branding photos for Chris both in studio, as well as out on location! It was a very creative and efficient shoot not taking up a lot the client’s time. Of course Chris was great in front of the camera so that helped too! This gave me a chance to use for the first time the new “thunder gray” background I added to the studio recently. I am very pleased with how it looks in these headshots and is a new modern, option I can offer for headshot clients in the Monterey area as this dark gray look background has become an increasingly popular headshot trend. Making one of my favorite headshots of the year so far
Lindsey visited the JCP Home Studio coming right from a professional makeup artist. Many people contact me here in Albuquerque, New Mexico needing last minute headshots which I always try and accommodate as much as possible. Such was the case with Stefan and luckily the scheduling worked out just in time for us to have the headshot photo session, for me to edit them, and then for me to send him his secure online gallery. Stefan started out with a white background, but found he liked the gray background much more and chose two headshots using it. This is why I always encourage clients to try at least two different backgrounds as you never know what you may end up liking the best!
