Adapting to make team headshots just like the client wanted in ABQ

Coordinating with Makayla of First American Title to make team headshots at her office in Albuquerque, New Mexico went smoothly as more and more ABQ businesses are choosing to get team headshots and I am learning more on what to prep the client on regarding the on location headshot shoot that can take several hours. However, variables still come up, like on the day of the shoot changing from a standard headshot to a waist up headshot, with the little problem of there nearly not being enough physical space in the room we were shooting in to make such a shot. As a professional photographer adaptability to the unexpected is a key skill to have. There was a table up against a wall behind me that just could not be moved, so everyone one of these headshots you see here was made with me sitting on the table all the way against the far back wall to be able to fit in the person from the waist up! Sometimes in photography, every last inch of space counts. Thank you Makayla for organizing this shoot and helping it to go smoothly, even with me sitting on a table!

In my 5 years living in Albuquerque, I have made a lot of networking friends and many of them have chosen me as their headshot photographer. I am especially thankful to networking friend Vivian, whom I first made a headshot for several years ago when we were on an ambassador committee together, because not only did she choose me as her headshot photographer, but also for 24 of her HUB International colleagues! Creative variety in model portfolio photography in Albuquerque

One of my goals as a commercial photographer is to offer clients who visit the JCP Home Studio in Albuquerque, New Mexico, great variety in the photos we make during the shoot, even in just a one hour shoot. Such was the case when Jolie visited for a model portfolio shoot, including some headshots too. She had a number of outfit changes ready, and with shooting head to toe, three-quarter, and the aforementioned headshots, I was able to make for her in just one hour 25 photos she chose from her proofing gallery! I was really pleased with the creativity and variety in photos I was able to make for Jolie and very glad she chose 25 of them to add to her modeling portfolio. Thank you Jolie for choosing me as your photographer!

Aaron of Chasin Quail visited the JCP Home Studio for a professional product photography shoot right here in Albuquerque, New Mexico. He brought a variety of t-shirts and ball caps to get photographed for his online store. We worked together to get the hat photo perspective just how he wanted, and likewise for the top down shots of the t-shirts. Change jobs get a new headshot in Albuquerque New Mexico

I first made a headshot for Brett back in 2019 when he was working for a different engineering company. He has since changed jobs and needed a new headshot, and I really appreciate him choosing me once again as his headshot photographer. Furthermore, he brought his wife, Rebecca, this time to get headshots too! We had more formal jacket on headshots and then more business casual style headshots on the shot list for each person. Then as a thank you to Brett and Rebecca, I suggested they get in front of the camera together for a bonus portrait. Professional Product Photography for outdoor gear in ABQ

I am always excited to see what new products Tavis sends me from his outdoor gear company, Morrison Outdoors (another recent shoot). He started with a unique sleeping bag for kids, and is now branching out into other branded products, like these clever leak proof bottles featured here. The green bottle opens its straw by twisting the cap. The black bottle has a super secure twist to pen for a small sipping opening designed to be for coffee. I really appreciate clients like Tavis that even though they are no longer in Albuquerque or even New Mexico, still choose me as their product photographer. Thank you Tavis!
