Outdoor team headshots in Albuquerque for Zia Trust

Zia Trust had an established style for their team headshots using a space outside their building right here in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Things change outdoors though, including landscaping and of course light, so I was allowed some flexibility to choose a different background area for making headshots of the CEO, senior trust officer, and the trust administrator. I have a suspicion that when it comes time update the other team members photos, they will want to use the new style I established with these three headshots. Thank you to Nate and the Zia Trust team for organizing a smooth headshot shoot outside where there can definitely be variables. I do not always recommend outdoor on location headshot shoots, but with the right conditions, they can turn out unique and high impact like these did!

It was great working with the team at Centric Title and at the end even making an impromptu duo portrait showing the flexibility of my mobile headshot setup. Headshots for an Albuquerque meteorologist

KOB 4 local news here in Albuquerque is actually the station I watch so when someone named Ivan Cabrera texted me about headshots, I had to ask, are you the meteorologist? He was indeed! If you can believe it, Ivan was not the first local news meteorologist I photographed in downtown Albuquerque, that was Conner Lewis of KRQE back in 2020. Even though I was shooting in a similar place, Ivan’s headshots are totally unique. Using an intersection as the out of focus background, and even the Albuquerque Convention Center itself, I was able to create a variety of different headshots for Ivan all within about a 20 square foot area! More and more actors are moving to Albuquerque, New Mexico, and more and more actors are choosing Jason Collin Photography for their headshots. I met Andy in a favorite downtown ABQ spot for an on location headshot session on a variety of dynamic backgrounds. Andy wanted headshots that really accentuated his facial expressions, so I did a lot of shooting with my Sigma 50mm f/1.4 ART lens to really bring the DoF onto his face and eyes in particular. Creative Commercial Portraits Brick Wall Background in Albuquerque

Meeting client requests is what it means to be a professional commercial photographer in Albuquerque. Jason contacted me needing natural light portraits, with a brick wall background. So I began scouting locations in downtown Albuquerque that had a brick wall and would be in shade at midday to be able to shoot a natural light commercial portrait in. Having found the perfect location for the photoshoot, and done all the prep work ahead of time, and having 12 years experience as a pro, the shoot ended up taking less than 10 minutes of Jason’s time so he could get back quickly to his busy work day. That’s what it means to choose me as your commercial photographer. He also had his edited portraits delivered only 3 hours after the shoot!

I first starting making headshots of this growing team of lawyers two years ago, spanning three cities in New Mexico. Since then they have also gone through a name change, from Noble Law to now Vrapi Weeks Law. I am very grateful to continue to choose me as their headshot photographer for whenever they get new team members. This time I went back up to Santa Fe to make headshots just like I did for everyone going back two years in Las Cruces and Albuquerque also. 3 dentists get headshots in the ABQ desert

On a very windy Friday evening I met three dentists in the desert at the foothills of the Sandia Mountains for a commercial portrait and headshot photoshoot. When I say windy, I mean windy! It was a real team effort with Jessica assisting on purpose, and my contact person, Annamarie, helping out to in order to get the best possible on location headshots possible, and a group shot of all three dentists to culminate a blustery shoot.
