Modern Headshots made in studio in Pacific Grove California
Fadi visited my photo studio right in downtown Pacific Grove for updated professional headshots. He brought several different shirts, ties, and jackets. Since I shoot tethered to a 43” screen, he was able to see which shirt, tie, jacket combo he liked best in real time allowing him to get the looks he liked best during his studio experience. The flexibility of my studio for headshots allows getting different wardrobe changes all within just a 30 minute photo session, not taking up a lot of time for the client, while still having a fun and creative time in front of the camera. Photographing Oil Paintings at Client’s Pacific Grove Studio
Marlene contacted me about becoming the new photographer for her artwork (oil paintings) as her previous photographer had retired. We decided that I would come to her artist studio to photograph her paintings there, as she had a secure wall mount already, and she had 9 rather large paintings, so it would be easier than her bring all of them to my photo studio. This worked out great as her studio turned to be a very comfortable environment to photograph her paintings with good available natural light and space for me to shoot tethered to my laptop so Marlene could then in real time proof the photos of her paintings to make sure the color was accurate as well as the exposure of the photo too. I also got to pet her very friendly dog, Pearl too! It was great talking with and working with Marlene during the shoot. It was one of those photo shoots that makes me feel so good about being a photographer. Thank you Marlene for choosing me as the new photographer for your beautiful and creative paintings!
Marketing Video for Pacific Grove Golf Links with the PG Chamber
The next video in my series of making social media marketing videos for the Pacific Grove Chamber of Commerce features the Pacific Grove Golf Links. This golf course has views of Monterey Bay and the Pacific Ocean and does have wildlife encounters possible right on course, which we experienced with a deer acting like a min-golf course obstacle on one of the early holes! Recording video on the course, even from a moving golf cart, was a lot of fun and the sun was out making it a beautiful day on the links. A Creative Shoot for a Doctor in Monterey from Headshots to Branding Photos to a Group Shot
I met Dr. Allison and her staff at her clinic in Monterey, California aptly named Monterey Natural Wellnesss, to make a variety of professional photographs for her and her team. We started out with making some white background headshots with my on location studio setup. Then some branding photos of Dr. Allison before finishing with a group shot of the entire team. Her wellness center space made for a great photo studio so that her and her staff could get right back to caring for patients, taking up only an hour of their morning. That is what I offer clients with on location team headshots and personal branding photography. DJ Jason Kushy gets signed to a label returns for a second personal branding photo shoot in Pacific Grove California
Even before my photo studio here in Pacific Grove, California was even close to fully setup, local DJ and producer Jason Kushy contacted me about a branding photo shoot to help him launch his first tracks on Spotify and other music streaming platforms. It was a great shoot in studio and out on location. Since that time he has grown greatly in popularity and been able to sign with a label! So he wanted another branding photo shoot to have images to share with the label and this new, exciting phase in his music career. This time the shoot was entirely out on location in downtown Pacific Grove using a couple of spots I had scouted before, and then also improvising with a few more. The result in just an hour shoot was a fantastic variety of backgrounds, styles, and vibes for the photos we made. Big thanks to Felix for assisting with this shoot allowing me to focus on getting as many creative looks for Jason as I could. And of course, a very big thank you to Jason for continuing to choose me as his photographer as his music journey takes off!
Promoting Pacific Grove with the PG Chamber featuring il vecchio restaurant
The Pacific Grove Chamber of Commerce president contacted me about a video project they wanted to do, asap, and fortunately, my schedule could fit in a two day video shoot at no less than 9 locations! Good thing Pacific Grove is also small and compact, so highlighting restaurants, experiences, and just the beauty of the area at some many different places was possible, and it also helped that Jazmyn and CC were pros in front of the camera letting me work creatively and efficiently everywhere we went.
Studio headshots for a medical school application in Pacific Grove
Ivan is applying for medical school and needed headshots for that application process. I told him I have done this for many other students before, so meet me at my Pacific Grove headshot photography studio and we will make some great ones for your medical school applications. I kind of feel extra excited making headshots for student applications knowing that in some small way I will be helping them continue their education dreams.
