Willie returns to the JCP Home Studio for a 4th style of headshot

Willie has been one of my best clients in the past year and a half. He has come for now four headshot photo sessions! Three have been here at the JCP Home Studio, and one was out on location in downtown Albuquerque, New Mexico. This time Willie wanted a specific gray vertical gradient background. He sent me a sample photo and I was able to match that exactly in the Covid-19 safe studio shoot we had. I really appreciate returning clients. Nothing feels better as a professional photographer than when a client continues to choose you for their photography. Thank you Willie!

Modern Business headshots for the best Albuquerque Real Estate Brokers 2021

One of my very first photo shoots of 2021 was this headshot session for new Albuquerque real estate broker Alexa. She visited the JCP Home Studio for a Covid-19 safe headshot shoot where we covered a wide range of backgrounds and outfits. Starting out on a clean white background, and then moving on to both black and gray backgrounds, even with the same outfit, Alexa had many different looks to choose from. She was open to trying variations too, allowing me to experiment with different lighting setups. I was very happy that Alexa chose 10 headshots from our session! She will not run out of different headshots to use on her listing pages, business cards, and front yard signs anytime soon. Fast and Covid-19 safe headshots for insurance agents in Albuquerque

State Farm Agent Justin visited the JCP Home Studio in Albuquerque, New Mexico for a Covid-19 Safe headshot shoot. As an insurance agent, he was looking for a modern, professional headshot. We first used a white background for a most modern, clean look. Then we switched to a gray background for a totally different look, even though I still used the same lighting setup as on the white background. Now Justin in just a quick 8-minute photo session, has two very different headshots to use as needed to make the impression he was with his insurance clients. Covid-19 Safe Headshot Photoshoot of Actor in Albuquerque

Looking for a Covid-19 safe headshot shoot, Leslie visited the JCP Home Studio in Albuquerque, New Mexico for the best headshots for actors in the city. We used three different background colors to create both serious and friendly actor headshots. Leslie said her nature is to be outgoing and friendly, so showing more serious expressions was not so natural to her. I helped her think of things to get the serious expression she wanted. Same headshot lighting for a doctor two very different looks

Starting a new position, Pranshu visited the JCP Home Studio in Albuquerque, New Mexico because as a doctor, he wanted a modern headshot for looking great on his new hospital’s website’s staff page. He had no preference to background color, so I suggested starting on a nice clean white background to standout on all website designs, and for the second headshot, switching to the bold look a black background makes, even with the same lighting on him for both shots. Black background headshots make a strong impact

Kathy visited the JCP Home Studio in Albuquerque, New Mexico wanting an updated modern headshot. We used several different background colors, but as many clients increasingly do, she chose both of her headshots on the bold look of the black background. Giving headshot clients options is what I strive for as they may think they wanted one background color, and until you see yourself on other colors, you may be surprised how much you like something you never even considered. Of course, all photo shoots here at Jason Collin Photography are using Covid-19 safe practices which I detail in this video.
