Convenient professional headshots for doctors in ABQ
Dr. Justin Beatty contacted me about making a new headshot for him on location conveniently right in the waiting room of his own practice, Chrysalis Psychiatry, here in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Jason Collin Photography specializes in producing studio quality results on location and transforming a doctor’s waiting room into a modern photo studio. It is not often I meet someone else from Rhode Island here in New Mexico, but such was the case when Jeffery, a voice actor, visited the JCP Home Studio for commercial portraits and headshots. For his style Jeffrey wanted a black background. For some of the shots he even brought is own props. I was glad for the opportunity to photograph him “live” while talking into the mic making it look like he was doing voice acting. You can see the BTS shot below showing the three light setup I used to make the above image. This was a creative shoot that let me experiment with light in ways I do not often get to do, plus talk about Rocky Point! Longtime networking friend Lisa contacted me about making headshots for the entire team at FatPipe New Mexico, which is a fantastic coworking space in Albuquerque and other cities around New Mexico. I actually normally visit FatPipe ABQ once a week every Wednesday morning for 1 Million Cups, but with Covid-19, it has gone virtual meaning I do not leave my desk at home. I did get to actually use the coworking space recently as I was without power at home for two days. With very short notice Lisa had a work space for me ready to go when I arrived, with of course very fast wifi. Thank you Lisa and Stewart for choosing me as your headshot photographer!
Graduation Photos that stand out from the rest at Hotel Parq Central
Recent grad Josh wanted different, out of the box, more creative graduation photos. Using the fabulous Hotel Parq Central as a location here in Albuquerque, New Mexico, I was able to make for Josh the kinds of creative, Instagram-ready photos he wanted. That is what I offer clients of Jason Collin Photography, creative photography that stands out from other photographers in the city. I am able to make such standout photos for clients because of my high technical competence with off camera lightingon location, combined with on the spot, instant creativity based on the person and the environment. Justin wanted variety in his business headshots so we started with an on location headshot shoot in Altura Park and finished with in studio shots here at the JCP Home Studio in Albuquerque, New Mexico. I strive with every shoot to make the best headshots in Albuquerque, and I really like challenges like this to back-to-back get headshots results the same regardless of shooting out in a park or in my studio. Justin made things easy being great in front of the camera and having an assistant (thanks Jessica) for on location shoots just is a level of service I want to offer discerning clients who want the best headshot photoshoot experience. Covid-19 safe on location headshot shoot for a future teacher
If you have been waiting for a new headshot because of Covid-19, here at Jason Collin PhotographyCovid-19 safe headshot shoots are available both here at the JCP Home Studio, and right at your own location. I visited Zoe right in her own home, bringing my full studio setup (see BTS photo below) to make the best headshots for teachers available in Albuquerque. I even photographed her on three different background colors, that is the flexibility my on location headshots shoots offer clients. Plus, they are Covid-19 safe as I shoot with a mask on the entire time and maintain social distancing during the entire shoot.
In my car photography career, I have had the opportunity to photograph a lot of expensive cars, including a Rolls-Royce Wraith over $350k (and even drive it too!). However, the Duesenberg Model X photographed in Albuquerque, New Mexico is above and beyond any other car in terms of both value and rarity. This Duesenberg model is just one of five still in existence in the world! Who owns one of those other examples? No less than Jay Leno! The owner of this Model X is selling to to replace it with a Duesenberg Model J. He hired me to make photographs to help sell it for the highest price possible, as well as make drone video of the car in motion on Tramway Blvd.
