Rhode Island connection with a voice actor in ABQ

It is not often I meet someone else from Rhode Island here in New Mexico, but such was the case when Jeffery, a voice actor, visited the JCP Home Studio for commercial portraits and headshots. For his style Jeffrey wanted a black background. For some of the shots he even brought is own props. I was glad for the opportunity to photograph him “live” while talking into the mic making it look like he was doing voice acting. You can see the BTS shot below showing the three light setup I used to make the above image. This was a creative shoot that let me experiment with light in ways I do not often get to do, plus talk about Rocky Point! Modern Business headshots for the best Albuquerque Real Estate Brokers 2021

One of my very first photo shoots of 2021 was this headshot session for new Albuquerque real estate broker Alexa. She visited the JCP Home Studio for a Covid-19 safe headshot shoot where we covered a wide range of backgrounds and outfits. Starting out on a clean white background, and then moving on to both black and gray backgrounds, even with the same outfit, Alexa had many different looks to choose from. She was open to trying variations too, allowing me to experiment with different lighting setups. I was very happy that Alexa chose 10 headshots from our session! She will not run out of different headshots to use on her listing pages, business cards, and front yard signs anytime soon. Covid-19 Safe Headshot Photoshoot of Actor in Albuquerque

Looking for a Covid-19 safe headshot shoot, Leslie visited the JCP Home Studio in Albuquerque, New Mexico for the best headshots for actors in the city. We used three different background colors to create both serious and friendly actor headshots. Leslie said her nature is to be outgoing and friendly, so showing more serious expressions was not so natural to her. I helped her think of things to get the serious expression she wanted. Same headshot lighting for a doctor two very different looks

Starting a new position, Pranshu visited the JCP Home Studio in Albuquerque, New Mexico because as a doctor, he wanted a modern headshot for looking great on his new hospital’s website’s staff page. He had no preference to background color, so I suggested starting on a nice clean white background to standout on all website designs, and for the second headshot, switching to the bold look a black background makes, even with the same lighting on him for both shots. Black background headshots make a strong impact

Kathy visited the JCP Home Studio in Albuquerque, New Mexico wanting an updated modern headshot. We used several different background colors, but as many clients increasingly do, she chose both of her headshots on the bold look of the black background. Giving headshot clients options is what I strive for as they may think they wanted one background color, and until you see yourself on other colors, you may be surprised how much you like something you never even considered. Of course, all photo shoots here at Jason Collin Photography are using Covid-19 safe practices which I detail in this video. Listen to headshot clients, deliver great results!

Listening to what my clients want is something I like to think I do very well. So to read Bettina’s review of our headshot shoot was very satisfying to me as she said, “took the time to learn what my vision / goal was.” For her shoot, she wanted black and gray backgrounds, and I made sure that the position of her glasses relevant to the camera lens looked the best (i.e. no artifacting causing doubles nor any glare). Bettina was very good in front of the camera, so we were able to take a few shots, proof them together, then refine things exactly in the second round of headshots. Then to receive such a wonderful review made me happy knowing I was able to deliver great headshots for my client. Thank you again Bettina!

The Best Headshots in ABQ in or outdoors!

Justin wanted variety in his business headshots so we started with an on location headshot shoot in Altura Park and finished with in studio shots here at the JCP Home Studio in Albuquerque, New Mexico. I strive with every shoot to make the best headshots in Albuquerque, and I really like challenges like this to back-to-back get headshots results the same regardless of shooting out in a park or in my studio. Justin made things easy being great in front of the camera and having an assistant (thanks Jessica) for on location shoots just is a level of service I want to offer discerning clients who want the best headshot photoshoot experience. Now Justin has unique green background headshots, along with white and black background in studio headshots to choose from!
